Job Summary

White Oak Oil & Gas has an immediate position for experienced Quality Control Personal.

 

Responsibilities

Oversees employees in the day-to-day as it pertains to quality, orienting, training, keeping adherence to company policies and procedures, compliance with ASME, and customer specifications. Will report to QC manager and may collaborate with leadership team, Engineer Supervisor, Purchasing Coordinator, Quotes Manager, Operations Manager, and President. The Vessel Shop Quality Manager must have a working knowledge of layouts, fits, code weld fabricating, ASME codes, blueprints, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as heat exchanger frames, skids, pressure vessels, pipe spools, and shell bundles, heat exchangers. Will assist in checking chemical properties of MTR’s (Material Test Reports).

Requirements

Experience in inspecting layout, fit up, and hydrostatic testing of pressure vessels for accuracy per specifications. Experience inspecting and monitoring welding operations for accuracy per specifications (AWS). Experience in reading blueprints and ASME, National Board Certification.  Experience in NDT -RT and UT.  Experience in NDT-FILM reports for code compliance. Monitors ASME compliance and relations with Authorized Inspectors. Experienced in PWHT compliance. Experience in reading blueprint drawings, calculations, and U1A.   Experience in hydrostatic testing and equipment calibrations records. Experience in maintaining welding procedures and electrodes with ASME and AWS. Experience in generating NCRS as required (Non-Conformance Records). Experience in maintaining travelers for Pressure Vessel Fabrication/ Heat Exchanger. Experience in ASME, AWS, and B31.3. Experience inspecting incoming material “MTR” to verify compliance with ASME codes. Experience generating and changing welding procedures per customer request following all ASME codes.
